Sportpoolz ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our pool management platform.

• Date and time of visits
• Recordings of your session on the site — the pages you view and how you interact with them. Text you type into form fields is masked and is not captured.

How You Found Us

When you first arrive, we record the campaign and referral parameters carried by the link you followed — for example a Google Ads click identifier, standard utm_ campaign tags, or the identifier of the member who shared a pool invite with you. If you go on to create an account, these are stored with it so we can tell which campaigns and which members bring people to Sportpoolz.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

Cookies

We use cookies and similar browser storage for three purposes:

• Essential — to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. The platform cannot function without these.
• Analytics — to understand how the site is used, which pages people struggle with, and whether a visitor who signed up went on to join a pool. These recognize your browser across visits.
• Advertising — to measure whether an ad we paid for led to a sign-up. We use these only for measuring our own advertising. We do not sell advertising on Sportpoolz, and we do not allow third parties to advertise to you here.

Analytics and Advertising

We use PostHog for product analytics. It records page views, feature usage and session recordings, and associates them with your account once you sign in, so that we can see where the product is confusing or broken. Form inputs are masked in recordings.

We advertise Sportpoolz on Google Ads. When you arrive from one of our ads, Google's conversion measurement tags let us see that the click led to a sign-up. This tells us which ads are worth paying for. We share only the fact that a conversion happened and the click identifier that came with it — never your email address, your name, or anything about your pools or picks.

Both are measurement tools, not advertising networks operating on this site.

Browser tracking protection does not block all of this, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. Analytics that describes what you did in the product — signing up, creating or joining a pool, submitting picks — is recorded by our own servers as part of handling your request, so an ad blocker or tracking protection never sees it. Page-view and session-recording data is collected by a script served from a subdomain of ours that forwards to PostHog, which most blockers also do not stop. What browser-level tools do reliably block is Google's advertising tag. Blocking any of it does not affect your ability to use Sportpoolz.

Sportpoolz is offered to users in the United States. If you are visiting from a region with additional consent requirements for analytics and advertising cookies, please be aware that we do not currently present a consent banner.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
